Holly was the 3rd woman to have been married. Her first marriage was with the actor Danny Quinn. They were married in 1992 but divorced after two years in 1993. Jim Carrey was her first encounter with Jim in 1994 when she was auditioning to play Ace Ventura, Pet Detective. Alaina Suddeth is sister of Kristy Suddeth (Rossville, Georgia) and J. J. Suddeth. Alaina started singing when she was just three years old. Her first public performances followed with a kids choir and the annual holiday spot which provided karaoke. The singer sang at church, restaurants, holidays with family and any other gathering within a 30-mile radius of the place she resided. Alaina was a contestant at the Southern Stars Pageant at 8 and took the crown. The next year she was chosen to perform on the Kids stage of Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. The event allowed her to compete on its main stage at age 12 after she had been performing there each year. When she was 10, she traveled to Orlando to participate in the American Model and Talent Competition. The competition was won by her who came out ahead of 1,500 competitors. Alaina performed as a member of the Georgia Country Gospel Music association's Kids' Group. When she was 12 years old, Alaina made her first of numerous trips to Nashville. She played in Tootsie's an establishment in Nashville, a bar that is located on Broadway. Alaina won the title of the first to win Lake Winnepesaukah's WinniSTAR Youth Talent Competition in 2009. She wrote and performed various songs, such as Leaving, Set Me Free, as well. Alaina began singing in 2009 after her cousin Holly Witherow who had been diagnosed with a tumor of the brain. This inspired her. Prior to Idol, Alaina worked at CiC's Pizza. She attended Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School located in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, where she participated in the cheerleading team.
